The Friends of the New Gloucester Public Library is a nonprofit of generous donors and dedicated volunteers who support the library through fundraising, advocacy, and hands-on service.
We raise money to supplement the library’s operating budget, helping fund programs and special projects such as museum and Maine Wildlife Park passes, summer reading activities, author visits, and speaker events, to name a few.
Together, we help ensure the New Gloucester Public Library remains a vibrant and welcoming community resource.
Originally founded decades ago and revitalized in 1989, the Friends have grown to more than 75 members strong. Each year, our membership continues to expand as we build on a long tradition of supporting the New Gloucester Public Library.”
