Mark your calendars!! It's time for the Friends of the New Gloucester Public Library Book and Bake Sale, held Sunday, June 4, from noon to 3 p.m., at the New Gloucester Community Building, 381 Intervale Road.

And that means it’s also time for the Friends-only preview sale, held the morning of the public sale, from 11 a.m. to noon.

Have books you'd like to donate? Please bring them to the New Gloucester Public Library during open hours. Containers will not be returned and library staff will not be available to assist in unloading donations.

The Friends are especially interested in children’s and young adult books, adult fiction, and non-fiction books. All materials should be clean and free of odors, mold, and mildew. As a reminder we are not accepting Reader's Digest Condensed books, encyclopedias, magazines, VHS tapes, DVDs, or CDs.
