Mark your calendars!! It's almost time for the highly anticipated Book and Bake Sale, hosted by the Friends of the New Gloucester Public Library. Join us on Sunday, June 4, from noon to 3 p.m., at the New Gloucester Community Building, 381 Intervale Road.

Friends of the library are invited to a special preview sale at 11 a.m. before the public sale. Not a Friend yet? Join that morning. To learn more, visit our membership page.  Friends support the library in many ways and there are lots of opportunities (big and not-so-big) to help, meet people, and have fun.

Have books you'd like to donate? Please bring them to the New Gloucester Public Library during open hours. Containers will not be returned and library staff will not be available to assist in unloading donations.

The Friends are especially interested in children’s and young adult books, adult fiction, and non-fiction books. All materials should be clean and free of odors, mold, and mildew. As a reminder we are not accepting Reader's Digest Condensed books, encyclopedias, magazines, VHS tapes, DVDs, or CDs.
